My First Ever Woot Off

If you've never checked out woot.com, you should. It's a really awesome site that offers a "deal of the day" for pretty decent prices. Ever so often they run a promo called a "woot-off" where they have more than one item per day and post something new as soon as one item is sold out. During the woot-off there is also the occasional bag-of-crap. The servers usually crash and the BoC's are completely sold out in seconds but the hunt for the BoC's is very addictive and can be fun.

I have an awesome husband

He ventured out on Black Friday and brought me home a Wii! Isn't that just the best? We also got a My Size Barbie and some other odds and ends. The Wii was a total "me" thing but Samara LOVES it as well! She does pretty good too, for a four year old. Selene plays with it as well but she's not as "into" it as Samara is. I think we may just buy them that Wall-E Game they're asking for.
Speaking of Wall-E, Samara does the cutest things with her hands and eyes pretending to be Wall-E. Oh, and Selene is Eve, poor Evan, he's M-O. If you haven't saw Wall-E, you should definitely check it out. It's a pretty good family movie.

The Shield - series finale

First let me say, I love Michael Chiklis. I have loved The Shield from the first episode. It's dirty, it's raunchy, it's shocking, it's funny. To see it come to an end, was in and of itself a sad event; the end, however, that Shawn Ryan chose was heartwrenching, yet fitting.

When Vic found out that Corrine was working with the police, the emotions that wafted over his eyes were so real. Chiklis really was a standout performer in this episode.

In the end, Vic's so-called punishment was worse than Ronnie's, I believe. I just wish that Ronnie's outcome would not have been so harsh.

My Own Worst Enemy cancelled?

I read somewhere online a couple of week's ago that MOWE was cancelled. I hadn't actually watched any of the shows yet, but they were patiently sitting on my DVR calling my name. When I read that the show was cancelled, I promptly deleted them from my DVR without ever watching any of the series. Now, however, I notice NBC is still showing "new" episodes of it. I wonder, was it cancelled? If it wasn't I'm infuriated at false information that caused me to deltet those episodes!

Dumptrucks

After driving all over town, going to every major retailer, I finally gave up my hunt for a plain old dump truck. Who knew it'd be so hard? We bought two smaller versions, a plastic one with a bucket and a metal one that "dumps' but still wasn't what I was searching for. Who would have thought it'd be that hard?

Poison Control

Evan is barely one and already he's gotten into so much more than either of the girld. 1-800-222-1222 is about to be put on speed dial in our house. Today he twisted the lid off a tube of hand cream in a matter of moments. I had no idea he could even do that. Boys are so much more work than girls!
